Submit IdeaPan&Zoom doesn't work. Let's implement a proper Ken Burns effect.
Ken Burns made infamous the use of pan/zoom across still images to convey motion. Pictory's Pan&Zoom implementation should do this, but it is completely broken and unusable - and can not possibly produce good results without input from the user, which it does not do! You need a UI that allows the user to select 1) an image 2) a source rectangle 3) a destination rectangle. This allows the user full control over the transition, speed of movement, etc. Pictory only has implemented step 1. How could Pictory possibly get a good result without this - how do you know where the start/end of the transition is? I'll bet you could have this implemented in two weeks from design to final QA if your team really tried. https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rippletraining.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2015%2F01%2Fimage5.jpg&f=1&nofb=1&ipt=ccac7e63ebd85b81d9aa36af3f437ae1a581a8a3815ba3de5861a402314cd6c2&ipo=images

More options for scene transitions
This is again a common ask from most of our customers.
Different options for Text animation
Create nice videos with variety of animation styles for the Text which appears on the video
Automatic Subtitle translation into multiple languages
Publish your videos into multiple languages and get better visibility and user engagement
Clone my voice
Be able to clone my voice similar as dine using AI voices so that I do not have to do voiceovers for each video using my voice manually
Add more than one text box on a scene
Add main headings, sub-headings, and animate them differently. Would make the final video nicer!
Reorder scenes by drag and drop
Easy for anyone to reorder the scenes on the story-board
Remove Background Noise Automatically
Remove background noise to clean up audio. Request automatic feature for this.

Adjust scene duration as "+" or "-" seconds for all scenes instead of a fixed number
The scenes change too fast so we have to manually adjust each scene's duration. I'd love to have the option to automatically add 1 extra second (or 0.5 seconds, or whatever) to all slides in one go. Can't use the "apply to all scenes" feature because some scenes are longer than the other.

Vertical Stock Footage & Video Rotating Editing
The video clips that Pictory finds are usually very good, but most of them are standard 16:9 aspect ratio so when they're used for a vertical video for Tiktok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube shorts, a lot of the content is missing. Having stock footage for 9:16 aspect ratios included into Pictory's ai would be a great benefit. Additionally, iMovie doesn't allow users to generate vertical videos currently. A work around is to edit it vertically (in a 16:9 aspect ratio), then rotate it 90 degrees and export it sideways. It would be great if Pictory could rotate uploaded video footage to fix this, however there are other workarounds that I am currently able to use.

Give warning (and options) when video is shorter than voice-over for a scene
By default a video will loop when it is shorter in duration than the voice-over for a scene. It would be helpful to give a warning when this occurs and give us the option to: freeze the starting and/or ending frame of the video; adjust the speed of the video to fit; split the scene at the end of the video; or take the default looping of the video.

Preview multiple scenes at once
Currently I can preview only one scene at a time. I'd like to be able to multi-select click and preview all selected to see how scenes will run together.

It would ne nice to have Text boxes with circular edges for better asthetics please

When there are multiple video images, let a delay time be set for each layered video to come in and then to fade out.
This would add much more interest to the video scenes and allow for more precise narration.

Add Your Voice Clone
The Eleven Labs voices are awesome, but as more and more people use them, our videos lose their uniqueness. Your competitor allows you to upload a recording of your own voice, from which it generates an AI-cloned voice that sounds just like you. Then, you can generate a video with your own voice without having to do the actual voiceover yourself. Eleven Labs lets you do this too, so hopefully it would be easy to integrate into Pictory. It is necessary because in order to do this currently with Pictory, you need a voice clone from Eleven Labs, and a second level Pictory account, and the price is more than double your competitor. Thank you.
