I need to raise an issue that is making the editing process much more complicated than it should be. When creating a video, there is a setting that limits the script to two lines per scene. Great. That’s exactly what many creators need to maintain pacing, structure, and narrative control. The problem is that even after enabling this option, the system still automatically links scenes together. So I end up having to manually unlink them one by one. That simply doesn’t make sense. If there is a clear configuration for two lines per scene, why does the system ignore that logic and keep merging blocks? What is the purpose of forcing automatic linking? Right now, I waste a significant amount of time undoing something the system should respect from the start. This isn’t a minor inconvenience. It directly impacts the workflow of anyone producing longer videos with dozens of scenes. A simple solution would be: A “Unlink All Scenes” button or A setting that truly enforces two lines per scene without automatic linking Honestly, it’s surprising that no one inside Pictory has addressed this workflow issue yet. For creators who work with structured scripts, this is a basic functionality. Fixing this would streamline the creator’s workflow almost completely in this area. Fewer repetitive clicks, less manual correction, and more time focused on actual content creation. Please consider improving this. As it stands, the system adds an unnecessary step that slows down serious creators.

Can we have a video clip speed option to either slow down (slow motion) a clip or increase the speed? Not for the entire video, but individual scenes.

It would be nice to include sound effects during specific points to make certain points more impactful to the viewer.

Very useful for uploaded videos. E.g. Add Speaker name, title etc.

Multiple Voices - Add ability for conversations, or multiple contributors to storytelling. Think about a series of sides, some being told by a central character, others contributing. Even a slide where multiple voices are speaking the same message together...perhaps building into a crescendo... Slide 1 - One voice Slide 2 - Two voices Slide 3 - Four voices Slide 4 - A crowd!

being able to create several versions of the same video, using the same script, but choosing different images/ short videos randomize to create more versions of the video which is unique. Useful in having different videos to rank for difference keywords in youtube. Instead of creating 10 individual videos. We can just have a set script/ text. Choose images/videos to be randomized and we can indicate how many of the videos we need to create. Example, we indicate creating 10 videoes and pictory to spit out 10 unique videos by randomizing the images/ videos chosen, playing the same script. And randomizng the music as well that we choose.
