Feature requests

One feature I really like is the new avatar capability. However, what would make this significantly more powerful is the ability for users to upload their own face and create a realistic AI version of themselves. The technology already exists where AI can replicate facial expressions, lip movements, and voice with high accuracy. If Pictory allowed users to upload a short video and voice sample, then generate videos that look exactly like them delivering their script, it would dramatically elevate the platform. For content creators, educators, and business owners, that would be a game changer. Another major opportunity is full text-to-video generation from simple descriptions. The ability to describe a scene and have AI generate it — for example, “me walking along the beach at sunset while speaking to camera” — would make Pictory feel cutting-edge again. This kind of generative video capability is already emerging in other tools, and integrating it directly into Pictory would position it as an all-in-one production studio rather than just a script-to-stock-footage tool. To take it one step further, it would be powerful to include AI-generated thumbnails tailored to the topic and optimised for different social platforms. A built-in smart thumbnail creator that understands YouTube vs Instagram vs TikTok formatting and engagement style would remove another external step for creators. Right now, many of these technologies exist separately across different platforms. If Pictory brought them together under one umbrella — realistic personal avatars, generative scene creation, and automated thumbnail production — it would feel innovative again and potentially lead the market rather than follow it. I hope this helps. I share this because I see real potential in the platform and would love to see it push further.

I hope Pictory can add AI human talking avatar. And e can have personalised face and custom voice.

Be able to clone my voice similar as dine using AI voices so that I do not have to do voiceovers for each video using my voice manually

Very useful for uploaded videos. E.g. Add Speaker name, title etc.

Multiple Voices - Add ability for conversations, or multiple contributors to storytelling. Think about a series of sides, some being told by a central character, others contributing. Even a slide where multiple voices are speaking the same message together...perhaps building into a crescendo... Slide 1 - One voice Slide 2 - Two voices Slide 3 - Four voices Slide 4 - A crowd!

being able to create several versions of the same video, using the same script, but choosing different images/ short videos randomize to create more versions of the video which is unique. Useful in having different videos to rank for difference keywords in youtube. Instead of creating 10 individual videos. We can just have a set script/ text. Choose images/videos to be randomized and we can indicate how many of the videos we need to create. Example, we indicate creating 10 videoes and pictory to spit out 10 unique videos by randomizing the images/ videos chosen, playing the same script. And randomizng the music as well that we choose.

We are adding a new style asked by many of our customers which has heading and captions together on the video scenes. We will first roll it out for video editing scenario and then for text to video scenarios too
